The Lünersee is also easy to reach by public transport. Express train station in Bludenz - then take the Postbus line 580 to the valley station of the Lünerseebahn.

Green Ticket

No traffic jams, travel comfortably by bus & train to the Lünersee and back home again.

1 ascent and descent with the Lünerseebahn incl. arrival and departure from/to the Lünerseebahn within Vorarlberg and from the border railway stations Buchs, St. Margrethen (CH), Lindau (D) and St. Anton am Arlberg.

Please note that vignettes (tolls) are compulsory on all Austrian highways and expressways. You can find detailed information at vignette.at. Points of sale: Automobile clubs (ÖAMTC, ARBÖ), customs, toll booths, gas stations and tobacconists.

From Switzerland

From St. Gallen (CH)

Swiss Rhine Valley motorway - Oberriet-Meiningen exit - motorway towards Bludenz from A14 Rankweil entry - Amberg tunnel - Brandnertal exit

Parking at the valley station of the Lünerseebahn is subject to a fee. Coin or card payment is possible at the parking machine. All coins from 0,10 € to 2,00 € can be used.  Please note that the machines do not have change, so no remaining amounts will be paid out.

The fee obligation applies from midnight to midnight. A new day starts at midnight. Failure to comply will result in a fine or an action for disruption of ownership.
